“Our first Employee of the Month in our family was Emily. She is 7 years old and she put in so much effort with her chores and not fighting with her siblings. She has done well with cleaning her room and making sure she asks to use her electronics before she goes on them. We also have separate criteria for each child - just little things that they individually have to work on. For Emily, we really wanted her to use her manners more as she often forgets. I stumbled upon the Hire and Fire Your Kids app at a point in Covid-life where our household felt like it was spiraling out of control. My kids, ages 8 and 11, hadn’t set foot in a school in five months; we had lost all semblance of routine and structure; and my house was constantly littered with dishes, toys and clothing because we were hardly ever leaving it...
Enter Hire and Fire Your Kids (HFK), an app that motivates kids to do chores and meet behavior expectations through “recognition, reward and consequence.” In short, kids earn money for doing chores and following household rules and values. After showing them the app, my kids were excited about earning money in a way that felt fun, and I was excited to stop yelling at them to clean up or be nice to each other. We dove in.....

HFK joins nationally recognized fintech and insurtech accelerator program, RevTech Labs
We are thrilled to be selected and join nationally recognized fintech and insurtech accelerator program, RevTech Labs for their Fall Cohort. We are joined by seven other startups from around the world.
The eight startups making up the class represent a range of solutions across both the financial and insurance industries. The RevTech Labs team connected with close to 4,000 companies from around the world, narrowing the numbers down to 61 through an internal screening process and selecting only eight final companies after hosting a Selection Week with program partners and sponsors.
RevTech Labs is a 12 week program focused on early-stage mobile, software and web companies.
QC Fintech is a program created and run by RevTech Labs, an organization out of Charlotte that has been focused on building a global community of support for fintech, insurtech and healthtech startups. Each of our programs takes a holistic approach to the Founder journey to create the ultimate roadmap for growth and success.
QC Fintech's guiding principles are one in the same as their umbrella organization, RevTech Labs.

We are proud to be selected and supported by the Town of Whitby and 1855 who is Durham Region’s first and only technology accelerator. They position high potential tech companies for the global stage and are strategically initiated and funded by the Town of Whitby and by the CEO of 360insights
Their vision is to provide support for established high-potential tech and innovation companies to accelerate growth and land within the community, expanding the Innovation District in Downtown Whitby, ultimately becoming the growth arm for a robust Eastern Innovation Corridor from Pickering to Kingston.
